As a freelance travel writer and photographer I focus on couleur locale. Fueled by my interest in places, people and our planet, I aim to deliver wonderful stories, often generously quoting both locals and visitors. Speaking six languages helps me to comfortably communicate with people in many countries. I have a sixth sense for finding special places. Still I always (always!) want to see what is around the next corner. My broad experience as editor of travel and lifestyle magazines allows me to easily identify what suits your magazine or publication best. Apart from travel stories I write articles and do interviews about healthy living and other topics. Once upon a time I made an online magazine called Naturelle. On occasion I work as a freelance managing editor or editor-in-chief for magazines. I am Dutch and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
